T&D Europe has released its position paper on the European Commission’s Strategic Roadmap for Digitalisation and AI in the Energy Sector.
While welcoming the Roadmap’s ambition to accelerate the digital transformation of Europe’s energy system, the paper highlights the need for stronger support for grid digitalisation, trusted data sharing, secure AI deployment and investment-friendly regulatory frameworks.
The position paper outlines concrete recommendations to help turn the Roadmap’s objectives into practical solutions for a smarter, more resilient and future-proof electricity system.
