Workstream for the development of multi-vendor HVDC systems

Developed with Wind Europe and ENTSO-E, this report outlines joint perspectives on research directions to solve technical challenges caused by the integration of a large number of converter stations delivered by various technology providers. Focus is placed on the development, deliver and deployment of HVDC systems providing the connection to off-shore wind and highlights challenges, lessons learned from former R&D projects and practical experience in Europe as well as key feature required for the future.
