T&D Europe joins 14 partners, from 8 European countries, for the SG-Skill project that aims to address current and future skills needed in the Smart Grids sector, supporting Europe’s digital and green transition.
As electricity networks become increasingly digital, flexible and interconnected, the project seeks to ensure that the workforce is equipped with the right technical, digital and transversal stills to design, operate and manage the grids of the future.
The project, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, kicked off on 29 January and will run for 48 months.
The consortium is coordinated by Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Spain), and includes T&D Europe alongside Politecnico di Milano, RWTH Aachen University, National Technical University of Athens, Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, University of Cyprus, CIEMAT, ZABALA Innovation, NOVEL Group, Padre Piquer Foundation, iCert, E.DSO, GAIA and i-DE Redes Electricas Inteligentes (Iberdrola Group).
