Alongside 5 fellow industry associations, CAPIEL, CECAPI, CEMEP, EuropeOn and SolarPower Europe, we wrote to European Commission Vice-President Frans Timmermans, Executive Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis, Commissioner Mairead McGuinness and Commissioner Kadri Simson regarding the issue of EU Taxomony supporting sustainable investment.
In particular, we highlighted the upcoming complementary Delegated Regulation establishing the screening criteria for economic activities contributing substantially to climate change mitigation or adaption.
As strong supporters of the EU Green Deal and key enablers of the energy transition to a climate-neutral Europe, we ask to explicitly include the manufacturing of equipment and systems for the management of electricity in the draft Delegated Regulation on climate change mitigation.
