In view of the preparation of the revision of the EU Regulation for the use of F-gases (EU F-gas Regulation), T&D Europe, Europe’s grid technology providers, launches a public consultation open to all European manufacturers of electrical transmission and distribution equipment that apply SF6.

T&D Europe is committed to making its field expertise available to policy-makers, who will be defining proposals that could be implemented in the new F-Gas regulation, thereby significantly contributing to the final target of further SF6 emissions reductions in Europe.

The input received through this public consultation will contribute to the development of a common industry position on the use of SF6 in T&D electrical equipment. That position will reflect a long-term vision for the use of SF6 in T&D electrical equipment.
