The Horizon 2020 project PROMOTioN (PROgress on Meshed HVDC Offshore Transmission Networks) will host its mid-term project conference “PROMOTioN – Shaping a meshed HVDC offshore grid for the Northern Seas - First findings on grid concepts, technological innovations and barriers ” on 6 June 2018 in Amsterdam.

The venue is located next to the central train station.

The mid-term conference will feature

• key notes and panel discussions with experts from the offshore wind and HVDC sector
• intermediary findings on technology solutions and policy recommendations
• technical as well as non-technical workshops & expert panels on general findings, potential synergies, etc.
