GRID+ is a Coordination and Support Action created to implement and support the management, planning and networking process of the European Electricity Grids Initiative (EEGI).
The project took place in 2012-2014 for a period of 36 months, both in the EU and beyond its borders. The EEGI represents one of the European Industrial Initiatives under the Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan). Five critical issues concerning the electricity system and involving all stakeholders were addressed in this project: costs, benefits, KPIs, knowledge sharing, and financing.
